Day 6 — 10th March 2026

Woke at 02:00. Stomach pains. The body was doing its housekeeping — clearing everything out. Back to bed.

Sleep on and off until 07:20.

Up and out. 40 minute fast walk to school for drop off and back. Nose breathing up the hill. Felt it working.

Felt fine the rest of the morning.

12:00 — time to break the fast. 41 and a half hours. Done.

Four boiled eggs, two toast, two avocados. One tea. Finished at 12:20.
Then Tea and 2 biscuits about 13:00

103.6kg. Down 2.2kg in five days.

Dinner — chicken curry with nan bread and berry pie with ice cream from 16:30.
Finished dinner at 17:05

My body continued to flush out throughout the day and I kept drinking water with a few pinches of salt. I did feel a bit dehydrated with head panin and irritable and drained at times. The salt in the water really helps as I have water fasted in the past without the salt and felt totally drained and dehydrated when the body is flushing.

With this initial long fast I swam out to the first rock. I know what it looks like from out there now. I’m heading back to shore.
